Event Spaces

Cal Poly Partners Pavilion

Cal Poly Partners Pavilion offers a beautiful, newly renovated meeting space easily accessible from anywhere on campus. Located in the University Union, the Pavilion can quickly adapt from intimate presentation space to dining location.

Chumash Auditorium

Located on the second floor of the Julian A. McPhee University Union, Chumash Auditorium has a maximum occupancy of 996 and is 9,228 square feet in size. It can be divided into three sections to provide prime space for smaller events happening.

Cal Poly Partners Plaza

Cal Poly Partners Plaza, the 14,200-square-foot tiered hospitality area in the north end zone of Alex G. Spanos Stadium offers three distinct terraces and has an amazing field view and two culinary and beverage venues.

Swanson Center of Effort Conference Hall

This beautiful 2,728-squarefoot hall can be used as a central gathering space, classroom or lecture hall or can be arranged in various configurations for corporate meetings, cocktail parties, catered dinner events and more.

Multi-Activity Center

This diverse, multi-use room welcomes a variety of gatherings with its spacious layout, high ceilings, and audio-visual amenities. From career fairs to large events, the MAC can be tailored to your individual needs.

Business Rotunda

The Business Rotunda, with a seating capacity of 230, is equipped with fixed desktop controller, video projector, multimedia player and projection screen. It also includes portable wireless, wired microphone and network connection.

Conference and ClassRooms

A variety of classrooms and conference rooms are available throughout campus.

These meeting venues include spaces with fixed seating, fixed-tiered seating, and tiered seating, with capacities ranging from 10 to 230.

Many of these venues are Smart Rooms, equipped with a ceiling mounted data/video projector, multimedia players, and SP Controls Smart Panel, making them great spaces to use for presentations.

This was our first year partnering with CEP for our annual Strawberry Field Day and it was an incredible experience!
