How far in advance should I make a reservation?
This really depends on the space that is needed and type of event that is being planned. Reach out to us and we’ll work with you to create a personalized plan.
Is there public transportation in San Luis Obispo?
Yes. SLO Transit offers city wide bus service.
What is the latest I can cancel a reservation?
You may cancel at any time, however, cancellations less than 20 days from the date of the event may incur cancellation fees.
How does parking work on Cal Poly’s campus?
Paid parking permits are required. Our team can help set that up for you and your guests.
Is Cal Poly’s campus accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes. All Cal Poly venues are accessible. Please contact your Conference and Event Planning event coordinator for further information. For information on how to make your event accessible, please see our Accessible Events Checklist.
Are overnight accommodation available?
Yes, but only in summer months. Typically, June through August.
Are animals allowed on campus?
Only Registered Service Animals are allowed on campus. Per Campus policy, no person shall bring an animal onto the grounds or into the buildings of a campus except in accordance with directives issued by the campus president.
Can guests post signs around campus for the event or conference?
The Conference and Event Planning team will handle the production and placement of wayfinding signage for your event. Requests for additional signage posted by the Lessee must be reviewed in advance of the event. Your event coordinator will have additional information on this topic.
